Welcome to Car Zone Rental. By accessing our website, mobile application, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" means Car Zone Rental Pvt. Ltd., registered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • "Customer" means any individual who books or uses our car rental services.
  • "Booking" means a confirmed reservation of a vehicle for a specified journey.
  • "Driver" means the professional chauffeur assigned by the Company for each booking.

2. Booking and Confirmation

2.1 All bookings must be made through our official website, mobile application, or authorised customer care channels.

2.2 A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full or partial payment as specified at the time of booking.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to modify or cancel any booking in case of force majeure, vehicle breakdown, or unavailability of drivers, with full refund to the customer.

2.4 Customers must provide accurate pickup location, destination, date, and time at the time of booking. Changes may attract additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payments can be made via Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, or cash as available at the time of booking.

3.2 All prices displayed are inclusive of GST at the applicable rate (currently 18%).

3.3 Additional charges such as toll fees, parking fees, and night charges are as specified in the booking summary.

3.4 Cash payments must be made directly to the driver at the end of the journey.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the pickup time: Full refund.

4.2 Cancellations made between 12–24 hours before pickup: 50% refund.

4.3 Cancellations made less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund.

4.4 No-show by the customer (driver waiting more than 30 minutes): Full fare forfeited.

4.5 Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Customers must not carry prohibited goods, narcotics, inflammable materials, or items illegal under Indian law.

5.2 Customers must not behave in an abusive or threatening manner towards the driver or Company staff.

5.3 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Company vehicles.

5.4 Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly vehicles as specified in the booking.

5.5 Any damage caused to the vehicle by the customer will be billed in full.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 The Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather, or other factors beyond its control.

6.2 The Company is not responsible for loss of personal belongings left in vehicles.

6.3 Maximum liability of the Company in any dispute is limited to the fare paid for the specific booking.

7. Privacy

7.1 By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

9. Amendments

9.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
